A Conversation with Br. Curtis Almquist, SSJE

Br. Curtis Almquist, SSJE

Curtis Almquist was raised in the United States in the Midwest. He studied developmental psychology and worked in international healthcare and as a Social Worker in Chicago prior to seminary, then being ordained to the priesthood. He came to the Society of Saint John the Evangelist – an Anglican religious order for men – at SSJE’s monastery in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1987. He enjoys woodworking, photography (especially portraiture), and walking five miles a day. His work is mostly with leaders and with prisoners, listening.

We’re very pleased to share this rich and thoughtful conversation with Br. Curtis.
